9 young Pakistanis named in 30 under 30 Forbes Asia’s list

30 under 30 is a set of list released by Forbes every year. In the list, Forbes recognizes 600 young personalities, with 30 selected in 20 categories.

30 under 30 2018:

9 Pakistanis have been name in the 30 under 30 list for Asia. It is a proud moment for Pakistan and its people. The list recognizes extraordinary achievements of young Pakistanis. Among the recognized are:

Muhammad Shaheer Niazi
Muhammad Shaheer Niazi, 17, Scientist

The 17 year old is a young Scientist from Pakistan. He has been included in category of Health and Science. He has had his researches published in the Royal Open Science Journal. Shaheer has a dream of wining the Nobel Prize in Physics and is determined to fulfill this dream for himself and his country.

Muhammad Asad Raza and Abrahim Ali Shah, 23, Neurostic

The founders of Neurostic, an enterprise healthcare company. Their product include Clinical Decision Support System, Smart Health Monitors and Prosthetics. The have collaborated with National University of Medical Sciences Pakistan. They have also published research of Neurostic in International Conferences & Journal


Syed Faizan Hussain
Syed Faizan Hussain, 24, Founder Perihelion Systems

The founder of Perihelion Systems, a startup aimed at solution providing. Edu-Aid is one of the product of Perihelion, it helps hearing or speech impaired people. It is no profit organization and aim to solve large social issues by the help of technology.

Hamza Farrukh

Hamza Farukh, 24, Founder Boondh-E-Shams

Hamza Farukh is listed in Social Enterpenuers category. He is founder of Boond-e-Shams, a Solar Water Project. Shortage of drinking water is becoming an increasingly dominant issue in Pakistan. Boondh-e-shams aim to provide a solution to this problem using a Solar Powered water extraction and filtration plant. Costing $8,000, the system has a 25-year lifespan and can serve nearly 5,000 people daily.

Sadia Bashir
Sadia Bashir, 29, co-founder of PixelArt Games Academy

Sadia has been listed in Enterprise technology category. The company aims to bridge the gap between industry demand and education by providing training in Game development and recruitment opportunities.

Momina Mustehsan
Momina Mustehsan, 26, Musician

Momina Mustehsan of Coke Studio fame features in the Entertainment and Sports category. The musician and activist has been using her “newfound exposure to advocate for social causes important to her, including women’s rights, cyber bullying and mental health awareness.”

Adnan & Adeel
Adnan and Adeel Shaffi of Price Oye

The Shaffi brothers are the founder of PriceOye, an online price comparison engine. Their site is popular in third-tier countries.
